ACCESS STATEMENT |
THORPE HALL CARAVAN & CAMPING SITE We cater for touring caravans, motor homes and tents.The Reception and Shop are on your left as you enter the walled area. Steps make it unsuitable for those using wheelchairs but there is a bell and the manager will look after your needs personally. The opening hours are published on the door. The Toilet Block, Laundry and Games Room are accessible to all; there is also a specially built Disabled and Family Bathroom with it’s own dedicated parking place. ( Bath with handles, shower with folding wall seat for wheelchair users, baby changing facilities, sink and toilet set to wheelchair height. Please ensure that all elderly and disabled persons be accompanied by an able-bodied adult when using these facilities )The pitches are all grassed on level ground and accessed from a hard road. If you would like a specific pitch near the toilet block, please let the manager know who will do her best to accommodate you. There is a public telephone in the Laundry set to wheelchair user height, and a chair for other elderly or disabled persons. The Bus Service is minimal to Bridlington, but taxis are available on request. The Manager is there to help and to try to cater for all reasonable requests. |
